I just wanted to sign the guest book to let you know how much I appreciate this website. I have never been able to find a more comprehensive tool for learning about different steel compositions and their global equivalents.

This has been valuable for me both as a knife enthusiast and has been a useful tool in my work in metal stamping dies as we commonly need to find global alternatives for different tool steels that are also used on knives.

Please keep up the great work, and if there is ever any funding issues please add a donation page. This is an invaluable tool and a huge benefit to the community and would be a huge loss of it ever went away. Thank you for all your effort!

Hey fellow Desert Eagle owners. I have acquired a .50AE 24k Gold piece of AWESOMENESS. I have wanted one since I first saw Commando on the big screen. I finally got one not the color I would have chose for my first, but it sure is beautiful! It did not come with an owners manual note do I know what year she was created. I believe looking at the serial number she is a 95' . Can anyone tell me where I would go to check this out and how much she is worth. To me she is PRICELESS!
