Talonite 6BH(HP Alloys) - Cobalt based alloy. Was very popular circa 2000, but since then popularity declined. Main benefits are actual stainlessness, and very high wear resistance. All that sounds very good until you try to use it in a knife. IN short, it is too soft, forcing the user or knife maker to grind very thick edge and it's not gonna hold fine edge either. In the end, you have a knife with mediocre edge that lasts very long time, but it's not really worth it. I wrote a lot about Talonite and its edge holding experiments in the Trace Rinaldi Talonite Warhawk Custom Knife Review, if you wat more info check it out.
